Review Submitted September 22, 2010 Date of Stay August 15, 2010 We want to thank Sarah that we could stay in her wonderful cottage. The cottage is very cozy with nice furniture and the garde is relaxing. We are especially greatful for Sarah´s kindness in helping us spontaneously to stay one more night although the cottage was already rented to the next tenants. We recommend the cottage because it is in a quiet area in Berkeley, yet it is easy to walk to all the important spots in Berkeley and to the BART station. Renate and Hans Holzwarth, Germany

Review Submitted September 21, 2010 Date of Stay September 5, 2010 The Cottage has all that you could need in a rental property, it is well stocked with kitchen utensils, and all the rooms are just the right size for a single person or a couple. The shops are very close by (including a Safeway) and the BART is a 20 min walk away. Sarah (the owner) is also just right next door and very helpful, especially with providing information and maps for the local area.

Review Submitted September 14, 2010 Date of Stay April 14, 2010 This wonderful cottage was our home for 2 weeks during our vacation to the Bay Area in this year's April. We can only confirm what the other guests already wrote. The neighborhood is beautiful, in our opinion the nicest we have seen during our vacation. There are delicious restaurants in walking distance as well as shops for all needs. The cottage is perfectly equipped, very tasteful furnished and well kept. The owner Sarah is one of the most helpful persons we ever met. She gave us a lot of helpful tips to improve our vacation and welcomed us with open arms. We absolutely recommend this cottage for a vacation and would rent it again for another trip to the Bay Area.

Review Submitted June 23, 2010 Date of Stay May 22, 2010 I recently enjoyed staying at this charming cottage while visiting the Bay area for the weekend to visit my daughter at college. It's in a pleasant neighborhood and San Francisco is just a short drive away across the bridge. Dining and shopping, including a delicious Thai restaurant, are minutes away. I would recommend this to anyone who appreciates comfortable and well-designed accommodations. I'll be looking forward to staying here again on my next trip to San Francisco.

Review Submitted November 21, 2009 Date of Stay November 8, 2009 My wife and I recently passed a delightful and relaxing vacation week in this cottage. We found it quiet and secluded yet within easy walking distance of several fine stores and restaurants. Highway access for longer trips to Bay Area destinations such as the wine country, Muir Woods and Sausalito is convenient, and there is ample (and free!) street parking. Though small, the cottage is bright, cheerful and cleverly laid out, and there are tasteful design touches everywhere. Everything we needed to “get started” is provided, and groceries for both the basics and to satisfy ambitious palates are within walking distance. The owner is helpful, but unobtrusive. We would definitely stay here on our next visit to the Bay Area!
